Specific Plans

The Specific Plan is a regulatory tool, legislated by the State of California. It is essentially a custom set of development standards (ordinances) that apply to one specific property or project. PDS specializes in the preparation of specific plans. We have professional planners on staff who have many years experience writing this type of document. The range of our specific plan experience is extensive. Robert Lacoss was responsible for the first Specific Plan approved through Los Angeles County. The majority of our specific plans involve phasing strategies, infrastructure financing, and highly graphic architectural/landscape architectural guidelines.
