Parks and Recreation Master Plans

The parks and recreation department or district directly touches the lives of more people in a community than perhaps any other public agency. It has the responsibility of providing adequate recreational opportunities (and often social services) to the citizenry.

Our approach to Parks and Recreation Master Planning is structured to inventory and analyze what exists, determine the needs and demands of the community, and assess the deficiencies by comparing the community's needs to what facilities, programs and services are currently available.

We then provide alternative solutions for eliminating these deficiencies, estimate the costs for those solutions and prescribe alternative funding mechanisms to pay for them.
