Golf Course Communities

PDS specializes in golf-oriented master planned communities. Many of the properties on which we work are severely constrained by hillsides or sensitive environmental species.

Golf courses provide the optimal buffer between residential areas and adjacent properties. Clubhouses can serve as the focal point from both visual and social perspectives. In highly visible or politically sensitive areas, a golf course can be the impetus to grading activities, and phased development of an entire site plan.

PDS has planned over 10 golf course communities, some of which are included here. The goal in planning a golf course community is to maximize real estate values without compromising the golf course play. The golf course should be completely integrated with residential, resort, commercial and other components of a community. The community design should be planned so that all residents and their guests feel like they live in a golf course community, not just the residents that live in homes that front on the course. PDS has mastered the ability to all this, which is reflected in their projects.
