ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHIC DESIGN (wayfinding, signage, branding and identity graphics) is an important aspect of every project.  Wayfinding information is most effective when integrated into spaces – the environment – a part of the architecture and the landscape.  PDS West uses iconography – creating and applying images and symbols that give identity and reflect the character of the place, the community or region.

Our intent is to communicate information concisely and consistently,  integrating shapes, colors and typography to reinforce the message, the brand and the character of place.  As part of our land planning and urban design projects, PDS West provides Environmental Graphics Design (EGD) services.  We also provide EGD as separate service such as signage programs, wayfinding systems and design guidelines.
